Collection: Tobias & The Bear

Having met in 2007 as creative and editorial heads of a newly launched online fashion store, we were colleagues first, friends soon after and then some time after that, mums to our little dudes, Tobias Fox and Arlo Bear. 

It was a post-maternity leave catch-up at work that triggered the idea for Tobias & the Bear. Bemused by the lack of comfy but cool clothes for baby boys (especially the trend for tough denim on those soft little legs) we became hooked on the idea of launching a collection of printed leggings - pieces we'd be desperate to buy and that would make like-minded parents genuinly excited to shop too. Because, of course, it wasn't just us at a loss by all the limitations out there. Modern, design-conscious parents look for so much more than the 'pink is for girls', 'blue is for boys' style of dressing. Both boys and girls love superheroes, they both love animals and they both love pink - and why shouldn't they. As such, we design Tobias & the Bear with a unisex handwriting.

That first chat was in the autumn of 2013 and just 10 months later, we were up and running with our first designs. We now offer a core collection of key pieces of clothing and bedding which includes designs in the much-loved Just Call Me Fox print. Alongside this, there are four new seasonal collections available each year. Our prints are created in-house, and they are all exclusive. 

Tobias & the Bear is made in the UK and Portugal. We work diligently with skilled manufacturers to ensure ethically-produced premium quality pieces. Our inks are baby-safe and our fabrics are Organic and Oeko-Tex certified.
