FAQ

PRODUCTS

Where do your new clothes come from?

Our number one goal at Mini-Cycle is to offer durable clothes that will last for many years. We are in constant search for the best quality as we guarantee to buy back everything and want to make sure items come back to us in the best state possible.
We also try to prioritize local production where we can so we can gain more knowledge as to how and in which conditions our pieces are made.
In general, the pieces that we are able to find that follow those criteria are rare. For this reason, we have pieces that come from Canada and USA and Europe in most cases.

What are your products made of?

In most cases, the products we carry are made with natural fibres if they are worn directly on your children's skin. Outerwear, swimwear and footwear could exceptionally made with man-made fibre such as recycled PET bottles polyester.
We care deeply about the natural world and we want to make all our pieces will decompose quickly in their end-of-life.
As we also put a lot of emphasis on the durability of our pieces, we try to select pieces that are made with the most durable fabrics such as organic cotton, pima cotton, linen, hemp and natural rubber.

What does "Rescues" mean?

In an ever-growing effort to decrease fashion waste, Mini-Cycle put in place a “Rescue” program. This program aims at valuing over-stock, defective and out of season items and thereby minimise fashion waste as well as make durable fashion items more accessible financially to all.
Rescues feature items that were bought back from our official vendors or closing boutiques. For instance, when brands over produce, we obtain the lowest possible price for their overstock items and pass the savings on to you! Typically, these items will be in season or from the past couple seasons.
This gives us the opportunity to offer a wide range of prices to our community and allow everyone to participate in the Mini-Cycle.

How do I know if a product is new?

When a product is preloved, it will have the term "Re-Cycle" in its title. See example below -

Preloved: Re-Cycle Yellow Romper

New: Yellow Romper.

Are your pacifiers new?

Yes. We do not resell hygienic items such as pacifiers, underwear, teethers, etc.
