There's a change in the air, and it's not just the temperature! With Autumn well under way and Winter knocking at our door, our shop is reflecting the season more and more with new shipments arriving every day from our favourite brands. Have a look at what's new this month from Miniature, Donsje, Oeuf, Konges Sloejd, Briar Baby, and Organic Zoo.
Miniature Outerwear, Base Layers and Sweaters
Back again this year with beautiful new colours and the same trusted quality, Miniature outerwear is incredibly warm and durable. The jackets and snow pants are made from 100% recycled materials and each come with reflective stars, visible from 300 meters, to keep your child safe as the sun sets earlier this month. Choose from one-piece snowsuits, separate snow pants with adjustable and removable shoulder straps, and several styles of jacket - the Wally, which sits at the hip, the Vinna, a longer coat that covers the bottom, the Welias, with extra pockets, and the Wang, which has a hidden zipper and extra large hood.
Heading indoors, Miniature base layers are made of 100% organic cotton and incredibly soft. Perfect as pajamas, a first layer when bundling up, or comfy loungewear at home. To top things off, their Merino wool sweaters for babies, toddlers, and big kids are timelessly beautiful.
Donsje Leather Footwear
Keep their feet toasty warm with Donsje unisex outdoor boots and baby shoes. Everything from Donsje is made with 100% Premium Leather and the outdoor boots are lined with 100% sheep wool. If your little one is an animal lover, they will swoon just as we have over the Wadudu boots, which come in either bunny or deer this year. We've always appreciated Donsje for their use of safe, renewable resources and their dedication to handmade artisanship.
Oeuf Alpaca Fleece Knitwear
The colours and house motif of the new Oeuf collection leave us in total awe and filled with nostalgia! Patchwork quilts and mini houses dot their new sweaters, knit dresses, skirts and rompers. Ethically made in Peru of 100% baby alpaca fleece (our very favorite material), this eco-friendly fiber won't irritate the skin or hold smells, plus it never pills.
Softest Basics from Konges Sloejd
Konges clothes for babies, toddlers, and big kids are incredibly soft, and you'd want nothing more for your child's delicate skin. We wish you could feel them right now! They use Organic Cotton in everything they produce, which is especially important as their products tend to be the closest to the body - underwear, leggings, pajama sets, onesies etc.
We're thrilled that the Konges collection for FW21 includes sizes up to 11/12 years, and this Danish brand fits large, too! It is a tall task finding gentle fabrics and sustainable brands for older kids, as many of you parents well understand, so we're excited that this collection will fit all of the kids, from new born until the tween years!
Briar Baby
We love discovering new brands that share our values! Recently we discovered Briar Baby and jumped at the chance to carry their adorable bonnets. We carry three styles, all of which are perfect for the colder months! The Sherpa Bonnet and The Linen Bonnet (pictured below) are both lined with Organic Cotton Sherpa and The Pom Bonnet is lined with cotton with the classic pom on top. Brian Baby is carefully designed and manufactured in the United States, with a commitment to sustainability and timeless style.
Organic Zoo
Known for their simple and classic unisex patterns, Organic Zoo strikes gold again with their latest designs. Loose fitting bottoms and tops make for the cutest set of comfort clothes (seen below), and their bespoke Pine Forest printed pieces are perfect for Christmas and winter!
Organic Zoo swaddles and onesies make incredible gifts, even if the parents don't yet know the gender of their child as everything, from dots to half moons, is flawlessly neutral.
