Fresh In: Parkland, Sticky Lemon + Rilla Go Rilla

Fresh In: Parkland, Sticky Lemon + Rilla Go Rilla

Just in time for back-to-school, we've just received three great backpack brands in the shop that we're excited to share with you!

Chosen for their durability, ParklandSticky Lemon, and Rilla Go Rilla offer a wide range of products all made with recycled plastic bottles. We first brought them to Mini-Cycle last year and we fell in love with the style, quality, and ethic behind these brands. We're so glad to have them back in the shop this season for you!

PARKLAND

Parkland was established in 2015 in Canada. They create bags and accessories for everyday life. The exterior fabric of all Parkland products is made from 100% recycled water bottles. Their mission is to inspire others to make sustainable choices at an accessible price.

Parkland uses 5-12 plastic bottles in each backpack as well as 100% Vegan apple leather for their logo tag. You read that correctly - leather made from apples! And nothing says back-to-school more than backpacks and apples! They also have a variety of sizes, so whether you're shopping for your kindergartener or your big kid, we've got you covered.

STICKY LEMON

Sticky Lemon is a Dutch kids label, founded in 2016. Sticky Lemon, and mother brand Rilla Go Rilla are a favourite of ours. Both backpack labels use recycled PET materials in their bags and are bright, quirky, and fun. We love their colour blocking and the shades they choose. These bags would be quite at home in a Wes Anderson film with their vintage vibes and playful colours. These Dutch companies are creating eco-responsible and beautiful bags that we know you'll love.

These bags are all beautiful and sustainable, which is always our aim when choosing brands at Mini-Cycle. Now the question is, which one fits your child's personality and style? We hope you enjoy!

Happy Back-to-School!
