1. La Petite Leonne Wooden Teething Toy - $28
This teether is handmade in Montreal by La petite Leonne and the safest and softest materials for baby. The wooden ring is treated with beeswax instead of toxic veneer. The cuddly fabric is organic cotton and bamboo double gauze, as well as being naturally dyed. We love the second life this teether can have after teething years are through, too! The wooden ring and cotton can be separated and used for a handkerchief and toy respectively.
These pacifiers come in dozens of colours and will match any nursery or outfit! Whether neutrals are preferred or bold hues, Bibs has you covered. These pacifiers are free of BPA, PVC, and phthalates. We love these as a stocking stuffer or add-on item.
3. Les Petits Natures Cotton Beanie - $28
Les petits natures is another Montreal-based small business that we love carrying at Mini-Cycle. They have two toques this year, the ochre bonnet seen above is above our $30 limit by a few dollars, but the cotton beanie (see above in oat) is an affordable favourite. This beanie also comes in a dusty rose and charcoal shade to match any outerwear.
4. Mushie Organic Swaddle Blanket - $24
Every baby loves a muslin swaddle blanket, and we're particular fans of the Mushie option for it's beautiful colours and use of 100% organic cotton, which stays softer after years of washes and is gentler on our Planet. Seen above in blush, this soft swaddle is also available in a variety of hues from mauve to auburn and also crib bed sheets, which are also under $30!
5. Parade Organics One-piece Pyjama - $29
These one-piece pyjamas by Parade Organics are beloved by our customers so we continue to re-stock in the latest colours and designs! We love the fact that they're made with organic cotton and the two-way double zipper for quick diaper changes. The ankle cuffs can be rolled down to cover baby's feet or rolled up if you're putting on socks or boots. We also sell the Parade Organics Kimono Gowns for $26 which are the same up top but instead of legs at the bottom are a roomy sac with an elastic closure at the feet. Available in sizes 0-3 up to 12-18m.
At Mini-Cycle we receive hundreds of pre-loved pieces of clothing, including socks, every day, and we've learned which socks hold up over years of use - Collegien socks. The quality just can't be beat. These socks (as well as their tights) are incredibly durable! Made in France, and certified with the Oeko-Tex standard, these socks come in beautiful colours, styles, and mostly, they'll last! Available in sizes 6-12m up to 11/12y.
Admittedly a few dollars over, but we wanted to include this rattle by Ouistitine in our gift guide as it's become one of the most popular gift choices at Mini-Cycle. Ouistitine rattles (and puppets) are made entirely by hand and includes recycled fabrics to reduce environmental impact.
Our hope in offering flash sales throughout last week as well as a Conscious Friday promotion over the weekend was to offer our customers help in purchasing the more expensive items in our shop.
